Manteno Primary School is housed in the old high school facility of Manteno Community Unit School District #5.  The original portion of the facility was constructed in 1926, with the two newer wings being added in 1963 and 1966.

The school houses all kindergarten and first grade students from the district.  Due to size limitations, the district's pre-kindergarten students are now at the Elementary School.  Our enrollment for the current school year is approximately 320 students.
